Sentido Galomar - Adults Only Hotel - Canico (Madeira)

Very clean, modern hotel with beautiful views.

The restaurant was a huge disappointment, serving food that was overcooked and tasteless. The staff seemed indifferent, lacking the professionalism one expects at this price point. Unfortunately, the location felt inconvenient, being far from Funchal, which affected our overall experience.

The breakfast was fantastic and all the personnel were superfriendly. Modern room with large bathroom and hypo-allergenic pillows. Great and lovely location for visiting bars and an oceanarium.

Nice room, good area, everything new and well maintained. Great sea views from the restaurants. Access possible to the sea to swim on a great beach. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The room was a little noisy, but thanks to the helpful staff we could change quickly. The coffee/capuccino at breakfast is unfortunately a disaster and hardly edible.

We had a cracking time at this stunning spot. The sea views were breathtaking and the staff were pure lovely. Breakfast always offered something new, especially with those local delicacies. Only downside was the room layout. would’ve preferred a proper double bed instead of two singles pushed together.

Very comfy bed, spacious bathroom and a safe, a mini-bar and central heating in the room.

The great and beautiful location walk from a bus stop was just what I needed. Took a walk around city center, located not very far from the hotel. My room included a safe, television, and a mini fridge bar. Got an exceptionally comfortable bed...

Chur, the staff were super friendly and the ocean views were amazing! But the coffee at breakfast was a letdown, and the sauna was a tad too hot for me.

Great location, helpful stuff, amazing food

A very well-kept complex in a spectacular, imposing location. It is essential to book with sea view; it is worth it. Staff nice and courteous. Rooms spacious, bright and clean. The wellness area is to be emphasized, both massages and sauna are wonderful. An indoor pool and a fitness studio are available free of charge at the neighbouring Hotel Galosol. In good weather, breakfast is served on the terrace above the Atlantic Ocean.

The breakfast has air of quality to the top. We will still come back.

Fine views and a lekker stay in Madeira 🌊

Fine hotel with a beautiful sea view room. The pools are decent, and we did some scuba diving right from the hotel! Brekkie was solid, loved those fresh omelettes. The staff were so friendly, it was like home.

Service at the bar could be a bit slow in the evenings but nothing too major.

The only good aspect about this hotel is it's location, close to the sea. Also, the rooms have big balcony and are spacious enough.

First, we hated the smell. It was really-really unpleasant. Second, the bed was really uncomfortable and it was a twin bed, as this hotel does not have double bed, only twin. Then, the bathroom was in really bad shape - if it was for the bathroom, this hotel could not get more then 1 star. The room itself could be a 2 star, but only if the smell would disappear. We asked at the reception for another room and we were upgraded to Alpin Atlantico, which was very nice, but far away (10 minutes walking) from all the amenities of the hotel, located in hotel Galosol.

The incredible view to the sea and the very friendly staff at the front desk. Price is also very cheap for the options. Breakfast was also incredible!

The reception desk of this hotel is located one block away of the room. If you come at late night, you might find nobody to host you there, as happened to me. Keep in mind to refer to hotel Ondamar upon arrival. Rooms are a bit old, despite well maintained. TV channels are almost all in German, as most of the communication in the hotel. There are many, many Germans around, so you might feel uncomfortable for English not being the touristic language there, although everybody is friendly and speaks good English if you tell them to.

The sea water pools were refreshing, and the staff were super friendly. We enjoyed the fitness classes like yoga and Zumba, and the food at the bar and restaurant was delectable. There's also a great atmosphere around the pools, perfect for relaxation.

The only downside was that , there was some building work ongoing that led to a bit of noise around the adult pool area, which disrupted the peaceful vibe we were hoping for.

Excellent breakfast buffet. Nice situation close to the sea.

the room they had originally prepared for me was a very very small room but upon my request I got a better room with seaview and a balcony.

Impressive room, extremely comfy beds, very clean pool. Fantastic food in the restaurant, gorgeous breakfast with fresh tropical fruits, an incredible view plus juices. Particularly good location in the town, close to tourist attractions...
